Unified Tokenized Stocks
Tokenized stocks went live on OKX spot this month, built on a structure designed to unify multiple issuers behind one ticker rather than tie the asset to a single provider's token. One ticker, one order book per stock. That means no need to decide between several tokenized versions of the same asset.
40+ US names launched, including XTSLA, XAAPL, XNVDA, XSPY, and XQQQ. You can DCA with recurring buy, automate bot trading or simply invest long term. Plus there is the option to hedge across matching TradFi perpetuals from the same account balance.
Now live in eligible markets.
For Traders
July was about access, getting more people into more markets, with simpler tools and better-benchmarked infrastructure. Oil benchmarks got upgraded to the feeds the energy industry actually relies on. Europe got a campaign built around the MiCA moment. Equity perps got a mode for traders who don't want to start with a full derivatives setup.
X-Perps Simple Mode & Listings
X-Perps Simple Mode launched for EEA users in July, offering three DCA-based approaches to equity perp positions. The idea is to give traders who want stock exposure through perps a structured starting point, rather than a blank derivatives interface.
The equity perps list moved further into new territory. Bending Spoons (BSP) was listed within days of the Italian tech firm's Nasdaq IPO on July 1 (the company owns Vimeo, Eventbrite, and AOL). Firefly Aerospace (FLY) followed the same pattern. Alongside those, July added AppLovin, Snowflake, Zoom, UnitedHealth, and Johnson & Johnson.
ICE Brent & WTI
OKX's Brent and WTI perpetuals now reference licensed ICE benchmark data with the same feeds used worldwide for energy pricing, hedging, and risk management. ICE indices are what the global energy market runs on - the reference for trillions of dollars in oil trades, contracts, and risk books.
Transfer Season
When the MiCA compliance deadline passed in July, a number of exchanges quietly exited the European market. OKX had been authorised well before it was required, and July was when that preparation translated into something tangible.
Transfer Season launched with 70+ new markets, an 8% deposit bonus backed by a €50M pool, new grid bots, spot trading competitions, and access to partner experiences for traders making the switch.

Every month, no exception. July marks OKX's 45th consecutive Proof of Reserves publication — every user's assets backed 1:1, every month, publicly verifiable. At $23.1B in primary assets, the reserves have held through multiple market cycles.
