About HYPEJapanFirstBuy
HYPE unstaking continues, but the buyer side has a new entrant. Per Lookonchain and EmberCN, early July 31 a whale unstaked ~1.89M HYPE (~$106M) and moved it to HyperEVM, not to exchanges yet. That address holds 2.886M HYPE at a $19.79 cost, up over $104M unrealized. Meanwhile, Japanese listed firm Eole disclosed its first HYPE buy, aiming for 100M yen (~$611K) by end-August, reportedly Japans first listed HYPE buyer. Unstaker moved $100M in one go; the firm under $1M. Signal over substance.

$HYPE Gains +2% as Japan's First Public Company Purchase Stands Out Amid Market Pullback
While the broader crypto market remains under pressure and most altcoins struggle to find momentum, $HYPE is holding firm with a gain of around +2%, signaling resilient demand despite the ongoing correction.
The biggest catalyst comes from Japan. eole Inc., a company listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, has become the first publicly traded Japanese company to purchase $HYPE, acquiring an initial 1,078 HYPE while announcing plans to expand its holdings to approximately JPY 100 million (over $600,000) this month. The move marks a significant milestone for the Hyperliquid ecosystem and highlights growing institutional interest in the asset.
What makes this development even more notable is its timing. Institutional buying is emerging while the broader market is facing profit-taking and macro-driven uncertainty, suggesting that capital is becoming increasingly selective rather than leaving the market altogether.
However, investors should remain cautious. Bitcoin's short-term direction continues to influence overall market sentiment, and any deeper correction could trigger volatility across high-beta assets, including $HYPE. Even so, the token's relative strength compared to many major altcoins indicates that buyers are still willing to accumulate during periods of weakness.
For now, $HYPE is demonstrating one of the strongest relative performances in the current market environment. If institutional adoption continues to accelerate and more corporate buyers follow Japan's lead, $HYPE could remain one of the key assets to watch as the next leadership cycle begins.

The biggest mistake traders are making right now? 👀 Believing every altcoin is about to pop. The market is telling a very different story.
This isn’t a broad altseason. It’s a genuine liquidity rotation. Smart money isn’t buying everything — it’s concentrating capital into a small, selective group while the rest bleed momentum and get left behind.
🟢 Liquidity is piling into: $JTO, $JELLYJELLY, $BTC, $OPG, $BTCSLX, $LAB, $BSB, $ALLO, $CHIP
🔴 Liquidity is exiting: $BEAT, $EDGE, $COAI, $TRUMP, $RAVE, $SPACE, $SOPH, $IP, $AVNT, $ZAMA, $OFC, $PIEVERSE, $VIRTUAL, $ACU, $H, $MEGA
👀 My personal watchlist: $MEME, $EDEN, $HUMA, $ZKP, $METIS
The bigger picture hasn’t changed:
👑 $BTC still holds the liquidity throne — the market’s anchor.
🏛️ $ETH keeps absorbing institutional flows, cementing its role as the institutional asset.
⚡ $SOL remains the high-beta Layer 1 for traders, where speed meets sentiment.
🤖 $TAO and $WLD lead the AI narrative, the hottest sector right now.
📈 $HYPE is the cleanest gauge of market risk appetite.
🐕 $DOGE and $ZEC mirror retail mood, where crowd emotion shows up first.
The best setups rarely scream for attention. By the time everyone is posting about a token, most of the move is already gone. Follow liquidity, respect momentum, and don’t chase what’s already late. 🎯#30YYieldAt19YHigh #AMZNMissesButRallies #MSFT450BInADay

The $108M HYPE Unstake: Panic or Portfolio Management?
Watch the unstaking queue, not just the price. That's the lesson this week as HYPE slid roughly 10%, from around $61 to $55, on the back of coordinated large-scale exits from staking.
Per on-chain data tracked by Ember, a major crypto fund moved 395K HYPE to an exchange about a week ago and began queuing unstaking requests. On the evening of July 28, 1.97M HYPE (roughly $108M) cleared the 7-day unbonding period and exited staking, some routed to prime custody. That's a meaningful coordinated move, and the price chart showed it.
But flows are genuinely not one-way. Grayscale is pointing to real cash flow fundamentals. GLC Research pegs priority-fee revenue above $5M, backing over $30M in buybacks. That's not the profile of a chain bleeding out.
My honest read: one large holder rotating is not the same as structural deterioration. The 7-day unbonding mechanic makes exits visible in advance, which cuts both ways. We saw the selling coming, and we'll see when it stops.
Is more unstaking still queued up, or is this wave done? Worth watching closely this week.

THE HEATMAP IS GETTING INTERESTING. BOTH SIDES LOOKING TEMPTING.
The brightest colors on $HYPE heatmap aren’t there for decoration.
Strong bids continue to sit around $54-55 and the biggest liquidity cluster is stacked near $58-60 levels.
The market loves making the obvious trade painful first.
No strong bias from me here.
Just waiting to see where the market decides to collect liquidity first.
🚨 HYPE isn't just another altcoin—it's one of the few tokens where real platform activity directly impacts the token itself.
That's exactly why traders are paying attention.
$HYPE has climbed near the top of OKX's trending list, with both spot and futures seeing strong activity. Even after pulling back from its June high of around $76 to the $50 range, trading volume remains surprisingly strong—a sign that interest hasn't disappeared.
What makes HYPE different?
It's the native token of Hyperliquid, an on-chain perpetual futures exchange built on its own blockchain. A large portion of the platform's trading fees is used to buy back and burn HYPE, creating a deflationary model that's closely tied to real trading activity rather than pure speculation.
Since its OKX spot listing in late 2025, liquidity has remained solid, helping HYPE become one of the most actively traded on-chain exchange tokens.
But it's not all bullish.
Recent token unlocks and unstaking have increased the circulating supply, creating potential short-term selling pressure. The platform has also experienced flash crashes and large liquidations linked to oracle issues, highlighting that risk management and technical stability are still areas investors should watch closely.
The fundamentals remain interesting.
Hyperliquid continues to generate real trading revenue and maintain an active user base. However, future performance will depend on whether it can sustain growth while navigating stronger competition, token unlocks, and ongoing technical improvements.
HYPE is still one of the strongest exchange narratives in crypto—but it's also one of the highest-beta trades. Manage your risk accordingly.

Not every altcoin is built to outperform.
Assuming the entire market will deliver 10x returns is one of the biggest mistakes traders can make in this cycle.
This isn't a market where everything rallies together. Liquidity is rotating into a small group of assets with strong narratives, healthy trading volume, and sustained demand. Projects without those qualities are struggling to attract capital.
🟢 Capital continues to favor:
$BTC remains the market leader, while attention is also flowing toward names such as $JTO, $JELLYJELLY, $OPG, $BTCSLX, $LAB, and $BSB as traders look for higher-beta opportunities.
🔴 Projects losing attention:
$BEAT, $EDGE, $COAI, $TRUMP, $RAVE, $SPACE, $SOPH, $IP, $AVNT, $ZAMA, $OFC, $PIEVERSE, $VIRTUAL, $ACU, $H, and $MEGA are seeing weaker participation. Without renewed volume, recoveries may remain limited.
👀 Worth monitoring:
$MEME, $EDEN, $HUMA, $ZKP, and $METIS could become interesting if fresh liquidity rotates into emerging narratives.
📊 Market framework:
• $BTC — Primary liquidity benchmark
• $ETH — Institutional accumulation remains a key theme
• $SOL — Leading high-beta Layer-1 asset
• $TAO & $WLD — AI-focused narratives remain relevant
• $HYPE — Risk appetite indicator
• $DOGE & $ZEC — Retail sentiment trackers
📰 Macro focus this week:
Markets are watching major earnings releases, bond yield movements, and upcoming economic data, as these events could influence risk assets—including crypto. Higher volatility may create opportunities, but it also increases downside risk.
The traders who outperform usually don't chase every green candle—they follow liquidity, manage risk, and stay patient.

The 1H structure has rolled over and failed to reclaim prior intraday support, showing weak follow-through on every bounce. On 4H, the move is printing lower highs while volume expands on red candles, a classic distribution look. If price keeps losing liquidity under the broken range, the path of least resistance stays down as sell-side order flow keeps absorbing relief bids.

Wu reported that, according to Onchain Lens monitoring, Multicoin Capital transferred part of the previously unstaked HYPE to Coinbase. The fund received about 1.29 million HYPE from Hyperliquid, valued at approximately $BTC 71.1 million, and then transferred about 101,300 HYPE to Coinbase, valued at around $BTC 5.6 million.

Liquidity is building below the current reaction zone, with sellers maintaining pressure after the rejection. As long as price remains below the invalidation level, continuation toward the lower liquidity zones remains the favored scenario.
